This couple was so wonderful to work with for this end of the month wedding in May at Normandy Farms. I’ve shot at Normandy Farms a couple of times and it’s usually filled with locations to shoot in. Unfortunately they were undergoing renovations in all of those places so we were forced to be a little more creative with our shoot locations for the day. We ended up finding some great little spots to capture their first look and bridal party moments as well as other details and couple shots. Geoff and Amanda were such troopers as we moved around at mid-day to find the best lighting and best angles to capture the two of them. For two introverts, they did a fantastic job loosening up in front of the camera and being completely natural with one another. Katie and I loved getting to ride the trolly with the bridal party to and from the ceremony. Thanks again for choosing me to capture your day and I hope you enjoy some of my favorite moments from it.

I thoroughly enjoyed capturing Jimmy + Hillary’s wedding day this past May. They and they’re bridal party and families were so easy to work with and they all had so much fun with the photos. I always enjoy shooting at Brandywine Manor House, such a beaitful and intimate location and setting. I was finally able to get some off-camera flash shots at this location which I’ve been hoping to do for a long time. Jimmy + Hillary were great sports going back out for more photos after their meal. And let’s not forget the ridiculous party and dancing that occurred at the reception! Enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding day:

I don’t often agree to doing shoots for friends just because sometimes it can get awkward for me as the photographer. Not because my friends make it awkward but because I just ooze awkwardness. However, the times that I do agree to do shoots for friends are always a blast.

I absolutely love this couple. Katie is one of my favorite photographers that I have the privilege of shooting weddings with every year. I do a handful of her weddings with her and she does a handful of weddings with me every year. She is so sweet and so kind and cares so much for doing her absolute best when it comes to capturing moments. She is such a hard worker and I always look forward to when she is documenting a client’s wedding day with me.

In May of 2014 I was honored to be one of the photographers to capture Katie and Chris’s wedding day in downtown Lancaster. A year later we did a portrait trade and Katie asked me to do a 1 year anniversary session which I thought was a super fun idea. We spent a little bit of time one evening this past May in downtown Lancaster to just capture a couple moments with these two. So much laughter and so much fun. I absolutely adored working with Matt + Rachel to capture their wedding day and engagement session. These two are so adorable together – and it’s got to be something I truly mean if I just used the word “adorable” – probably the least likeliest word a guy would use to describe anything. But the way these two interacted as friends and companions was so warm and loving and I loved every minute of capturing the two of them together. Their wedding day was such an intimate affair with only close friends and family present in the church they met at. We also got walk around downtown Lancaster and hit some spots especially dear to them like Pour – a wine bar downtown where they had their first date! So many cool moments from the day. Sometimes I get the honor of shooting weddings for people I have known for a long time. Katie was one such bride. Lauren and I were her youth leaders at her youth group when she was in high school and it was such a privilege to capture her wedding day this past January and see her walk down the aisle to her new husband, Luke. Congrats, Katie! We’re so happy for you!
