Absolutely loved working with Mike and Laura for their wedding day. Their bridal party was a blast to work with and their wedding reception was one of the most kicking parties I’ve been to in quite a while. Here’s some of my favorites from the wedding day.
There’s something I always enjoy about watching friends of mine on their wedding day. It’s always so great to witness all the behind-the-scenes events of their wedding day and capture it all for them. I was especially honored to capture Tyler and Sandra’s special day at the Inn at Leola Village this past June. It was an exhausting wedding for me as it was smack in the middle of our two week recording project in Nashville. I flew home just for the weekend to play a gig on Saturday and shoot Tyler and Sandra’s wedding on Sunday. It was an honor to be a part of their day as they committed the rest of their lives to one another in pursuit of Jesus. I am so excited for what lays ahead for these two incredibly talented and loving people. If you want to check out their awesome snowy engagement session, click here. Here are a couple of my favorites from their wedding day.
It’s so awesome to finally get this wedding up on the blog. Brandon + Danielle’s wedding day was so much fun to be a part of brecause Brandon and I went through both Middle School and High School together. Their wedding day was a bit of a HS reunion for me seeing a lot of familiar faces from the past. Danielle did a fantastic job planning an elegant and classy wedding day in Gettysburg. Their wedding day preparations and reception were held at the Majestic Theater with their ceremony and bridal photos on the Gettysburg College campus. It was a unique setting to shoot in at the majestic with the bridal prep happening in the theater’s dressing room and the dance floor held in the lobby and dinner upstairs. Everything flowed so well together, though and it made for an unforgettable experience for me. I hope you enjoy their wedding day as much as I did! Here are some of my favorites and if you want to check out their engagement session, too, click here.
This post is up a little late but I have all of that to blame on our trip to Nashville and our new album. (You can read all about that on our Kickstarter here.) I had a loooong month of May weddings, 7 total, and Matt and Lindsay fell right in the middle. What I really enjoyed about their wedding, though, was it’s elegant simplicity. I had 2 weddings in May that fit this category so well – not only did these 2 brides portray a classic and timeless style and elegance but their attitudes about their wedding day set the tone and mood for their wedding day. I enjoyed the way Matt and Lindsay interacted with one another and their families – with such kindness and sincerity – they are salt of the earth kind of people and I honestly couldn’t be more thrilled to capture their wedding day for them. Their wedding was at one of my favorite Maryland venues – Swan Harbor Farm in Havre de Grace. I had the one and only Katie (Harnish) Williamson along second shooting this wedding with me – love having Katie along!

It was an honor to capture Tim & Andrea’s wedding and I was so glad that it was the first wedding of 2014 for me. Tim & Andrea have become dear friends of Lauren and I over the last couple of years. I remember the first time I met Tim and his brother, Tyler, was to lead worship with them at The Living Room Young Adults service at the Worship Center. Tyler was on drums and, of course, Tim was on keys. Tim is a phenomenal musician and we have been so blessed to be lead by and lead alongside of him in ministry and worship. Later, as he and Andrea started dating, we discovered that she is an incredible singer – something she humbly does not share openly upon meeting her. As a matter of fact, I believe the only reason we learned of her singing was because Tim was proudly bragging her up to all of us. This guy LOVES his girl. These two are truly made for one another – Lauren and I love you both and we were so honored to witness your wedding day and capture it. Thank you so much for the privilege! Looking forward to many, many more years of your friendship.
