Who We Are

Dan and Lauren Smith are a husband and wife Singer/Songwriter duet from the Lancaster/Reading, PA area. Dan serves as an Elder at Reading City Church where he and Lauren both lead the worship arts ministry – a church they helped plant in 2010. They have been writing and recording music as well as leading worship together for 10 years. They have released 4 independent acoustic/folk albums between 2002 and 2009, just recently they recorded their first contemporary Christian Worship album, The Revive Project, in Nashville with Producer, Stephen Gause (DownHere, Laura Story, Derek Webb, Dave Barnes).

The Revive Project is a not-for-profit album project designed to bring songs and music of life, love, and revival to a broken city in need and to help meet the physical needs of the poor, hungry, and forgotten in one of the poorest cities in the entire U.S. – Reading, Pennsylvania. They have been featuerd on Berks County TV, The Reading Eagle, and Focus on the Family’s Boundless Program, they have opened for Michael W. Smith, and can now be heard on the radio across the country with their single Awaken (Let the Whole World Sing). They have performed live on television and for Liberty University’s weekly convocation service as well as at many other colleges, high schools, and student bodies.

Dan and Lauren can lead as an acoustic duet or with a full band – whatever suits your needs. They have lead worship for numerous audiences, old and young as well as for multiple denominations in a variety of settings (Camps, Retreats, Conferences, Sunday Morning Services, Worship Concerts, etc.).
