Keith + Allie’s wedding was one that Lauren and I were anticipating and looking forward to for over a year. This is one of the few couples that Lauren and I both got to know over the course of their engagement. Lauren came to their e-session with me as well as working with Allie to make custom jewelry for the bridesmaids. By the end of their wedding I truly felt like we had created a new friendship with an incredible couple. It was a joy and honor witnessing their wedding day and spending it with them both. I hope you enjoy their wedding photos as much as I enjoyed capturing their incredible October wedding. There were so many incredible and touching moments throughout their wedding day that I lost count. Keith and Allie’s vows, the choral selection that was sung for them, and the Horah were by far my favorite moments from the day. These two truly belong together and I’m so excited to see the many adventures that lay ahead of them.

I also shot this wedding with my good buddy DJ Soto of Sonata7 Studios. Here’s his trailer from their wedding day as well:

Keith + Allie, thank you both for not only choosing me to capture your special day, but for also becoming our friends -we sincerely can’t wait to get together with you both again soon!

I absolutely adored working with this couple. Rich + Sarah are both so full of life, joy, and laughter that it overflows and infects everyone around them. It was an honor capturing their wedding day as I really go to see their personality as a couple and the true joy and happiness they felt about their relationship and their marriage. This was the first self-officiated ceremony I’ve ever experienced and it was such a unique and enjoyable experience. They were both so selfless on their wedding day. They had every right to make it their own day and make it all about them, but instead they surrounded themselves with everyone whom they love and made the ceremony not just about the two of them, but about everyone. They publicly shared about each individual standing up their with them and thanked them for the role they played in their lives individually and as a couple. It was a tearful and heartfelt experience and I truly wish everyone could experienced so much kindness and selflessness from a couple getting married. Thank you both again so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day. It was an honor. Here’s a couple of my favorites.

It’s engagement photo season! I was  so excited to spend an afternoon this October with an old classmate of mine from good ‘ol Manheim Township – Brandon Smith. As I’ve said before, it’s always great to catch up with folks from the past and see them at a new stage in life. It’s especially refreshing when I get to capture engagements and weddings for those same people as I get to experience some of their happiest moments with them.  I’m so excited to be working with these two for their wedding next May and I couldn’t be happier with their e-session. Brandon and Danielle met at Gettysburg College so we spent the afternoon/evening walking the paths of their relationship’s history – literally – on campus. Starting at the stadium and moving to Brandon’s old frat house (which coincidentally happened to be my brother’s old frat house – we didn’t go inside – for good reason), and then across campus to where Brandon proposed. We also spent some time in the center of town as Danielle’s mom had paid for their names and wedding date to be placed on the front of the Majestic theater. It was such a fun evening catching up and hearing more about their story and what lies ahead for these two. I hope you guys enjoy these photos as much as I do and I can’t wait for your wedding next year!

Dwight + Inna

Dwight + Inna

Dwight-Inna-WedBlog-Title

This was probably the longest weekend of the year for me as far as weddings go. The night before this wedding I was shooting another wedding in NJ. Got home at 1:30am and was up at 6:30 to start the day with Inna at the hair salon. It was definitely an exhausting day but also an incredibly fun one. Big shout out to Lauren for running me a Starbucks Americano right before the ceremony began – HUGE pick-me-up.

I loved working with this couple because they really enjoyed being themselves in front of the camera – just letting their relationship show through. I loved that they were transparent with me from the get-go as it made it so much easier to just take in their relationship and their wedding day. It was, by far, one of the most cultural experiences I’ve ever had for a wedding day with Inna coming from a Russian heritage and Dwight from a Mennonite one. I really enjoyed seeing to families from such different cultures and backgrounds mold together through the union of this couple. It was so amazing to see so many different people from different worlds interacting with one another on the day of their wedding. I have to give Dwight and Inna a hand for how they handled the wedding day with so much rich cultural and familial tradition while also making it their own and having fun with it all. Thank you both so much again for choosing me to capture your wedding day and being a part of it all – was an honor to work with you both!

I don’t know where exactly to start with Myron + Christine besides simply saying that I love this couple. I remember receiving an email from Christine back in the beginning of the year and after numerous emails she and Myron met with me in the Allentown area for coffee and to chat over wedding packages. I could tell immediately that they would be a fun couple to work with. I loved their attitudes about their wedding, their relationship, and what was ahead of them. I know I only meet clients for brief periods of time at these meetings but you really can read a lot from couples quickly.

After a couple more emails, I was so excited to hear that they had chosen me to capture their wedding day! Not only that but I got to do an immensely fun e-session with them in Manhattan (which ended up being one of the hottest days of the spring.) You can check out their e-session here.

Myron + Christine’s wedding day was as much fun as I had expected it would be and they were such an incredible couple to work with. These two are some of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve come across as clients and I was truly humbled and honored to be a part of their wedding day. Christine simply glowed all day with joy, and she had one of the most amazing wedding gowns I have seen to date. Myron, in his natural Myron fashion, wore a dashing smile on his face the entire day that just lit up everyone else around him – these two were SO excited for their wedding day and it was obvious to everyone present.

I had the privilege of having Erik Motta along as my second photographer for the day as well as intern Carli to assist. Thanks again for the amazing work, you two!

Here are some of my favorites from the day – and there are A LOT! I really had a hard time narrowing it down so I just stopped trying…enjoy!

It’s not often I get to do senior portraits. It’s simply not something I’ve pursued doing so it’s not really something I’ve booked often. Abbey is the younger sister of one of my brides from this past December. After a successful wedding her parents wanted to book me for Abbey’s senior portraits and I was definitely honored to take them up on the offer. Abbey has such a fun and bubbly personality and absolutely loves being in front of the camera. Honestly, it was SO easy to do this shoot – Abbey did all the work – I just showed up, got in the right spot and hit the shutter. Beautiful young girl with a bright future in front of her, I hope these photos capture her personality and this time in her life well and that her family cherishes them for years to come!

Big shout out to our friends at Aussie and the Fox in Lancaster who allowed us to spend a chunk of time in their cafe to get some super fun shots with their orange couches. They even made Abbey a GIGANTIC cappucino to pose with. GREAT cafe and restaurant – if you’re in the Lancaster area, please check them out! Here’s their page on Facebook.
