What did you enjoy most about your experience?

Dan Smith Photography is professional and prompt from start to finish. From our first meeting we knew he was the right photographer for us. I never knew that he would go above and beyond all my expectations. He listened to what we wanted and he gave excellent advice when he thought something could be done in a different way. Dan captured all the moments we wanted and many, many more. He came to the salon and stayed for the entire reception. He really got to know us as a couple and that is reflected in our pictures. In addition, we got to know his wife, Lauren who added her special jewelry making magic to the bridal party. Dan and Lauren worked super hard to make sure that our wedding day was special. Not only are they an extremely talented duo, they were a calming force for us during the big day; helping us to enjoy the moment and making sure we looked awesome in our pictures. We will definitely be booking with Dan Smith Photography again as more special moments in our lives unfold.

What did you enjoy most about your experience?

It all happen in the winter months of 2009 at a fast food place in Lancaster, PA where Ryan and I met with Dan and his wife, Lauren, back in the beginning of this photography career when he was just starting out. We had heard of him through a couple that I knew back in high school, Kelsey and Andrew, who were having Dan take their wedding photos that spring. First impressions are key when meeting people and I have to say Dan and Lauren made a great one on us. They were extremely friendly and genuinely nice, all smiles. I told Ryan and night that we would be booking him for sure, we did!

Two years later in June of 2011 Ryan and I got married at my parents house in the back yard surrounded by friends and family and Dan was there, despite the heat and humidity and threatening thunder storms the night before and later that night. Everything was in place and the sun came out when it hit 4 o'clock just as the ceremony was about to start, everything was perfect. Dan did an amazing job capturing on of the most important and memorable day of our lives to that point. I look at out coffee table book often, full of pictures from that day, and can remember everything, every little detail, thanks to Dan.

A few months later we met with him and Lauren again, this time with their new baby boy, Andy, to take some couple shots in a "Trash the Dress" photo shoot. I had seen lots of picture of brides doing this and I just wanted to experience it for myself, even if my beautiful clean white gown got destroyed. Let me tell you, it was worth it! Ryan and I had so much fun and shared several laughs with Dan and Lauren, he even got in the water with us to get some good shots. I just have to say, props to Dan for going all out while wearing your wife's shoes in a pretty cold creek with who knows what kind of critters swimming around his feet. We had a blast!

Thank you Dan and Lauren (and Andy too) for taking the time to forever lock memories into photos for us and doing the silly things to get it done. We hope to met again soon for future picture perfect moments.

I loved that Dan not only did our Engagement photos, he also did our Wedding photos as well. We got to know Dan before the wedding and felt very comfortable with him and his direction. He is very down to earth, and answers any questions you may have in a timely matter. We received a TON of compliments on our Engagement/Wedding pictures. LOVE LOVE LOVED them so much, thanks Dan!
